BELGIUM

The Kingdom of Belgium has a federal state structure, organized into three Communities:

Students from the European Union (EU)

Fees for all full-time students in the first year of the first and second cycles at public higher education institutions are fully covered by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. In the following years of study, fees depend on criteria set by the individual higher education institutions. For some students, fees are paid by the government, some students pay a certain share of the fee, and some pay the full fee.
Tuition fees may range from HRK 2000 to 10000 Croatian kuna/year (270-1300 EUR), depending on the field of study.

Non EU-students: Tuition fees vary depending on the higher education institution and the field of study. In most cases, there are no fees for exchange students.

Typical tuition fees:

By law, higher education at public and state institutions is free of charge for citizens of all nationalities which are studying in Czech language. However, some fees might be requested: fees for administration of admission proceedings, fees for extending the duration of study beyond a set limit.

For study in a foreign language: the tuition fees differ from 0 – 22,350 USD per year. The exact amount depends on the respective institution and study programme. There are several courses taught in English or in another foreign language.
